We are looking for a Social Media Intern!
Description: The social media intern will assist in developing our social media strategy and will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand by interacting on a variety of platforms. The intern will also research and write relevant blog articles and newsletter content, including photographs and/or videos.
Do you know someone who has:
Experience with Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and at least one blogging platform.
A healthy passion for Social Media, interested in doing it for yourself too!
Ability to switch gears and mind-set frequently and rapidly to capitalize on traffic opportunities.
A flair for communicating in all social media channels.
Are they:
A talented writer with ability to write intelligent, relevent, creative and fun copy.
Technologically savvy.
Comfortable with Microsoft Products, WordPress and Blogger.
Friendly, conversational and able to communicate ideas.
Interested in community building
Video editing experience is a plus!
A current student or recent graduate of related program is preferred.
Benefits:
This is an unpaid part-time internship but there is a genuine opportunity to grow with the organization.
Hours are flexible, a minimum of 10 hours per week and ½ hour per day is required. Minimum 4 month commitment, 6 months is preferred.
Intern will work on site and remotely.
